Muffins Quarterback Halo ® is a 3 piece must-have device that helps blind dogs transition to become familiar with existing or new surroundings quickly. It starts as a harness that’s wrapped snug around a dog’s neck and torso. The wing attaches to the neck of the harness. The halo attaches to the wing and when placed on neck of the harness, the halo is just above eye level. Now the halo acts as a buffer safeguarding a blind dog’s head, nose, face and shoulders from bumping into hard surfaces. The halo taps hard surfaces, it sends a signal to the dog alerting them to go in a different direction. They catch on very fast and it is truly amazing to watch their confidence level rise. Wearing the harness also makes them feel cuddled and less anxious. They can now have their blind-side covered in this stylish Muffin’s Quarterback Halo.

Our boy Shi Tzu Marti had SARDS where he went from normal to 100% blind in 4 days. We were devastated and poor Marti became extremely frustrated and depressed because of constantly bumping his eye into walls and furniture. Within 1 day of having the Halo, he became more confident of walking around using the bumper as “feelers”. Within 1 week Marti was going in and out of the doggie door and eventually acted like a normal dog using his other senses to navigate. You could totally see how confident Marti became as soon as we put the Halo on. He would almost run as he wasn’t afraid of bumping his face.

This Halo has been a lifesaver for my Maltese. He went blind within 24 hours due to SARDS. My poor 6 year old was devastated and depressed once he went blind. Once I put on his halo, he found joy again. He more confident and my baby boy’s personality was back. The halo protects him from running into walls. This product is well made .

When I found out Caesar was going blind from diabetes and pancreatic cancer I was not sure how to help him. I researched various products and found Muffin’s Quarterback Halo. The first few days Caesar had it on he was not sure what it was for but as time passed he learned how to use it and had no trouble navigating through the house or yard. My biggest fear was that he would walk into the chain link fence and do more damage to his eyes but the halo prevented him from getting close to the fence. The product is very well constructed and will last a long time.

My Max developed SARDS and went blind. He wore Doggles at that time. A few months later with protocol, he regained his sight. Unfortunately, a year later, he went blind with cataracts. We were at the vet all the time with eye ulcers because he would not wear his doggles any more. I purchased the quarterback halo. It was a godsend! After wearing the halo, Max never had another eye ulcer. He never ran into anything because the halo protected him all the time. Thanks so much for creating this awsome design. Forever grateful.

My Kobe went blind after developing cataracts. This was the best thing he could have received. He never walked on a leash as he listened very well. After going blind he lost his confidence. This brought back his confidence because he was able to walk on his own again. If he “bumped” into anything, the halo protected his eyes and he knew to walk around it. I am happy to see him be able to continue on his daily walks. Thank you for creating this product for dogs who cannot see anymore and need their confidence back. Love Kobe.

Ammo is a rescue dog who went blind from glaucoma at age 4 and we decided that living in a rescue he would need a halo. This one suits him perfectly and is well made and came quickly. The customer service and craftsmanship of the item is amazing!! Thank you

My little George who is 15 and blind , he used to sleep for hours and not be interested in anything we tried to stimulate him with various items and words ,he would go outside for a wee on his lead knowing that we were on the other end and would not let him bump into things, he was given a second chance halo and we can’t thank them enough, it took him a bit of time to get use to it so we put him in it for short times to start with and slowly increased it, he now has more confidence when walking around as the halo lets him know he’s about to bump into things,it has been a great help. George has another problem aswell now, he had a stroke just after Christmas it has left him with a tilted head and he’s a bit wobbly he will be like that forever now but he’s a brave little soldier and keeps plodding on bless him , but again a big thank you to muffins halo God bless you xxxxx

Nana, my 15 years old Jack Russel Terrier, became blind when she was 4 years old due to the congenital lens dislocation and had an artificial lens. 5 years later, the same thing happened to the other eye. Now she is totally blind. But, as is the Jack Russel always moving, she never stops walking around, bumping everywhere. So, I was so happy to find the Muffin’s halo on net.
I rated the star 4 not 5 because Nana is a timid girl and stops walking and keeps standing for hours when she wears the halo, which means she never bumps. I always recommend this halo to my friends who have blind dog, while confirming their dogs are not so timid as Nana.

My shih-tzu Max was surrendered to the local shelter at 15 years old. I couldn’t let him suffer the stress of the shelter so I brought him home to give him love and peace for whatever time he had left. Blind and deaf, he was having such a difficult time navigating his new environment. Even though he had no idea where he was, he was always going, pacing in random directions and bouncing off of things like a pinball! With his Muffin’s Halo, he was no longer walking nose first into walls, fences, furniture, etc. It is such a relief for both of us that he is no longer in danger of seriously injuring himself, but also it is a wonderful tool that allowed him to begin mentally mapping out the layout of the home. Within a few weeks, he no longer needed to wear the halo at home, as he had learned his way around. I keep it in the car now for those times we get out and about to some place where he isn’t as familiar.

The muffins halo is great for our blind boy Lex !

Cassi, my 9 year old pit bull went blind overnight and has been diagnosed with SARDS. My veterinarian gave me the information for Muffins Halo. What a phenomenal product! Before her halo arrived she was walking into everything or not moving at all. Now that she has her halo she moves about with confidence. If I take it off her she loses her confidence and doesn’t like to move.

My little guy was a miracle dog, had meningeal encephalitis, was expected to live several months, he lived 4 and half years. He went suddenly blind, was doing so so, however once he got his halo he was very active and confident in walking around house. The brain lesions finally took my little guy, I then donated the halo to our local shelter to help another special needs dog.
